Flooring matched to the room and the use.
Crown installs hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and stone flooring — chosen for the specific room, traffic pattern, and finish tier of the project. Subfloor prep and transitions handled in-house.
Five flooring categories, matched to the room.
Florida humidity, slab subfloors, and high-traffic family use mean the right floor varies dramatically room to room. Crown’s designers help you pick the right material for each space rather than installing the same product everywhere.
Solid hardwood
Oak, maple, walnut, hickory — traditional solid wood for living areas. Refinishable, premium look, sourced from US and European mills.
Engineered wood
Real-wood top with stable core. Wider plank options, suitable for slab installations and humid Florida climate.
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
Waterproof, high-traffic-friendly, photorealistic wood look. Excellent for kitchens, baths, and rental properties.
Tile
Porcelain and ceramic tile, including large-format and wood-look planks. Best for kitchens, baths, laundry, and outdoor-adjacent areas.
Natural stone
Marble, travertine, slate, and limestone for high-end interior and exterior applications. Sealing and maintenance guidance included.
Installation discipline
Subfloor preparation, moisture testing, transitions, baseboards, and finish coordination — the work that makes the floor stay flat and quiet.
Selection, prep, install, transition.
Showroom selection
Compare wood species, tile patterns, and LVP samples in person. Lay them next to your cabinet and paint samples for a coordinated look.
Measurement & quote
On-site measurement, moisture testing on slab subfloors, and a written quote with material allowances itemized.
Subfloor prep
Demo of existing flooring, subfloor leveling, moisture barrier where required — the unglamorous work that determines whether the floor lasts.
Install & transitions
Installation by Crown’s licensed flooring crew. Proper acclimation, expansion gaps, transition strips, and threshold detail.
Trim & finish
Quarter-round, baseboard reset, threshold caulking, and final cleanup. Walk-through and warranty handoff.
